Jacob D. Hunt

A native of Marion, Ohio, Jacob relocated to the Lowcountry of South Carolina in 2013 to attend law school, graduating in 2017. Jacob clerked at JLG while in law school and joined JLG as an associate attorney in September 2017. Jacob focuses his practice on healthcare regulatory law, corporate transactions, privacy issues, and fiduciary and corporate litigation. Admitted to practice in South Carolina and Georgia, Jacob is a member of the Health Law Section of the bar of both states, and is a member of the American Health Lawyer’s Association.
An avid outdoorsman, Jacob is most likely fishing, hunting, or otherwise immersed in nature when he is not in the office. He cheers for Ohio State, but we try not to hold that against him. Since joining the South Carolina bar, Jacob has devoted much of his time to becoming involved in the community at the local, regional and statewide level.
